Brenda began studying the art of Mime in 1993. As she watched a Mime Artist perform at a youth rally, she knew that this was her future. Brenda graduated Highschool in 1996, then received her Associate of Arts Degree in Theatre Performance in 2000. Going on to 3 years of intensive training with Mimeistry International School of Ministering Arts Brenda was personally mentored by Master Mimes Todd and Marilyn Farley, located in Pasadena, California. She majored in the art of mime with additional studies in Dance, Theatre and other movement arts including Mask creation, performance & the highly stylized Commedia dell ‘Arte. She is in the final stages of completing an AA in Dance.

Brenda has produced concerts, choreographed and toured annually, and has also studied under the prestigious Master of Mime, Marcel Marceau of Paris, France. Brenda graduated Mimeistry’s intensive 3 year program with honors in 2003, finishing as a Performance Journeyman with a distinction in Teaching. Brenda tours as a soloist throughout the United States & Internationally presenting original choreography, lectures & works. Beyond Words M.I.M.E. was established in June of 2005 & has a wide-range repertoire suitable for the SECULAR & FAITH-BASED events around the globe!
It is Brenda’s heart and desire that the gift of movement arts be restored from the back shelf and fulfill their role as a well crafted tool to speak that which cannot be equaled with words alone.
